I tried the Cookies here and unfortunately they fell short of my expectations. The Dark Chocolate & Hazelnut Cookies ($6) had a crisp outer layer but lacked the rich nutty fragrance. The Hazelnut didn't complement the Dark Chocolate well. The middle was somewhat crumbly. The Apple Pie Cookies ($6) were more Biscuit-like with dryness of a Desert. The Apple filling tasted like a dried-out version of Apple Strudel. It had a hint of cinnamon but no raisins on some pieces. While the prices are reasonable, I wouldn't recommend these Cookies as a snack for those with Asian tastes. Assorted Cookies are available in a 2-pack for $10. Overall these Cookies didn't quite hit the mark for me. Perhaps they'll appeal more to those with a different Palate.

I usually love going to The Cocoa Tree but this was a uniquely bad experience. The staff working there was rude, unhelpful and put me off purchasing any products because it was made so difficult. Her attitude was curt and unfriendly and she seemed as though she did not even want to make the sale. I was disappointed with this experience and will definitely be avoiding shopping at this branch from now on.
