Should have read the reviews before I bought. Got my order totally wrong. Asked for no lotus root, server said if no lotus root, then no peanuts too. I confirmed the order. In the end, I got no lotus root and NO pork ribs but with peanuts. Stunned. And the soup is heavily infused with soy sauce. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Staff attitude is very bad, especially the guy with tattoos on hand at Clementi outlet. We ordered 2 olive rice and 1 pumpkin rice but he went to pack 3 pumpkin rice first. Just when we thought maybe he didn't hear clearly and so we repeated our order, he then replied "I KNOW!" in a very rude way. Why the hell would he go pack other things first which is not even urgent?! Later he then sighed at us and didn't even want to tell us how much we owe for the food. Super poor attitude!!! I think your company should fire him and hire someone who is passionate enough to take up this job!

At around 845pm yesterday, I went to order pig stomach soup and lotus soup. The guy told me no pig stomach soup. I changed to both lotus soup. But add on 1 white rice and 1 pumpkin rice. He then told me no pumpkin rice. Therefore I only ordered one lotus soup with white rice. I asked for soy sauce with chilli. He said no more. The whole ordering process from start till end, the guy was extremely rude and giving a very bad attitude towards me. He kept on ask me to faster and faster as he wanted to close shop. I know that the shop closed at 930pm. After taking my soup, I went to buy other food. When I went back at 9 plus, he was there chit chatting with his colleague and not even preparing to close shop as what he had mentioned. His job is to serve customer and he at least should know how to speak in a good tone.

Not expensive but the soup is full of MSG, barely any meat on the ribs. Also, only can pay by cash which is very inconvenient.

Very Disappointed with the service staff at clementi mall. While I'm waiting for my food to be pack. I see the staff which taking another customer order behind me. When he take the customer order he remove his mask and dig his nose. After that he never wash his hands and change his mask. He just proceed to take the tabao bowl and wanted to take the soup and pack for the customer. When the customer and I tell the staff regards to hygiene issue he just ignored and keep talking to another china staff keep collecting the money. That's very rude and unhygienic. I hope that the management will look into it and give your china staff a proper hygiene protocol.

Very Disappointed with the service staff at clementi mall. is our first time order and it will be out last time . When me and my wife when to order, we tell the cashier we are in rush. The guy ignore us and continue to take other order whole another staff whipped the kitchen instead of doing orders. I ask the cashier, why another guy doing cleaning at this timing while you have so many orders coming in , The cashier replying in very rude tone saying we will do your order. However, the cashier is the one who take order , collect money and also making the foods. Another staff just ignore and continue his cleaning . I hope that the management will look into it and I am very sure this is not the first feedback of your rude and disorganized staffs you have.

absolutely horrible. Walked past here with my girlfriend and the worker cat called her. No respect for women and absolutely shameless behaviour. The audacity from the man is crazy. Even a 5 year old has more respect than him. Definitely never buying from this store or ever going close to it ever again. Women, please watch out.

The Malaysian Chinese who served at the counter to use another plastic to tighten the soup portion cos it usually spills n the rice. Claiming that I wanted 2 plastic bags for a portion of soup. Told him the soup was hanged on hooks in car. I can't control the movement. He insisted that the soup spilled because I swang it while carrying it. I didn't take any cutlery or chilli. Rude n obnoxious!

Soup is delicious and value for money. Staffs are friendly too! Been buying their soups (be it the black chicken or lotus root or radish soup) for months and never fail to disappoint.

11/6/21 We ordered and paid for the peanut and lotus root soup ($5) and they gave us watercress soup ($4.50). And normally they packed very carefully and nicely but that day when we reached home the the carrier was flooded with some soup (as in pic). 27/6/21 We went back again to order (because their soup is really nice especially white carrot😍) and also shared with the staff the incident on 11/6. They rectified the error for us. Thank you!

Pork ribs with peanut and lotus roots is really good as it’s like my teenage (50 years ago ) version . I avoided the errors by others by selecting 6 on menu. They didn’t make any mistake. All the outlets have various pay lah, credit card option except this outlet. Cash only payment in a modern mall seems ridiculous. The owner cash only option would result in things happening which never happens with cashless options

We tried this stall few weeks back and got hooked on the soups and rice (esp. the olive rice). The soup is very flavorful and rich and the rice addictive. It’s very affordable too as my mum and I would share a soup and have our own individual rice, which only comes out to $8.20 for both of us.

Super wholesome double boil soup. I ordered the watercress soup and it came with afew big pieces of pork ribs. The pork ribs paired with the garlic, chilli and soy sauce dipping was just too satisfying

Definitely a 5 star for this. Price is average but soup is SO good! Specially option 1. Thou it’s $9, my pov is worth more than that! Very flavorful and lots of ingredients like empress slice, mushrooms and fish maw. Their white pepper pig stomach soup not too bad too. Not very spicy but peppery enough. Personally, also like their peanut with lotus root.
