Got a helium balloon at 2pm today and an hour later, I found out that the balloon was slightly deflated. There weren’t any holes and I was gentle with the ballon. Went back to request if they could just pump helium to fill up the balloon at about 5pm and the staff shared that the protocol is that customers could either pay full price for another helium balloon ($10.50) or pay half price ($5.25) to pump helium into the balloon. It’s is outrageous to be charged so much when the balloon deflated within hours (sure, if the balloon deflated because I accidentally prick it - that would have been my fault and I’ll gladly pay the full price for it, but that was not the case). Photo here is how the balloon looks like at the end of the day. Disappointed with my experience in this shop. You might want to reconsider if you are purchasing a balloon from this shop. I frequently purchase helium balloons from other shops and never encountered this issue. Seen other poor reviews here and it seems like the management is profit driven. To management: You may want to reconsider how helpful this business model would be in the long term.
