I've been to so many spectacle shops over the years and so far I've never left one feeling completely taken care of from start to finish until now. Jolin and Benjamin made the whole experience smooth and fun and because of their friendliness, professionalism and customer centric attitude. They left no stone unturned and taught me everything they knew about different types of lenses and their manufacturers and matched me with one that would best suit my needs. They were even patient enough to walk me through all the proper steps to teach me how to put on my new set of contacts. I was so impressed by their level of service that it was what made me decide to get a new pair of glasses made from them. In case people think it's just for me, I've seen them behave in a similar manner to other customers too, and that's something worth praising and commending. Jolin and Benjamin, keep it up bros, you'll both go far :)

Benjamin is very professional and patient in explaining the different frames, lens & eyesight testing. He had provided excellent service and good recommendation of the spectacle frames. I love it and I have really enjoyed my visit at this branch in Clementi Mall

I hate to give lousy reviews but the experience of making spectacles here made me feel perplexed... Made my spectacles here for the first time and was unsatisfied. Firstly the prices were not clear upfront. Other spectacle shops will tell me prices for frame + lens totalled but here I only find out the final price after doing eye test and get pushy sales to upgrade my lens. But it’s ok.. I received my spectacles one week later (I went down because they didn’t call me). Nowadays spectacles supposed to be able to collect in one/two days no? But it’s ok.. Found out my lens are not perfectly adjusted so I went back (in my mind I was like nvm they probably won’t change but I’ll just see how they manage customer problems) a month later. The lady first thing blame my way of testing my eyesight saying my eyesight will not be equal even when I wear specs. And I cannot close one eye to gauge the eyesight of the other eye, I must open both eyes to test eyesight. Is this true? She says my eyesight is 6/6 standard because I can read the alphabets properly (which I obviously can read because you made me read the same alphabets with my good eye first)? But nvm I guess it’s my fault for coming back one month later. Idk I just feel dumbfounded that it’s ok to have corrected eyesight in one eye and blur in the other and is still considered ok. Next time I’ll try move on to other shops in the mall...

As the regular contact lens were discontinued, we asked if they could call the other branches to locate the remaining stock for us. The store assistant said I had to call the other branches myself. I did not mind calling initially, but realised shortly that the other branches do not allow pick up without an eye examination as we have no purchase history with them. Shame on spectacle hut Clementi. Only Westgate staff Sharifah had the courtesy to agree to sending their remaining stock to Clementi to save us the trouble of travelling further. Thanks Sharifah. Boo Clementi!
