This is an outlet of a legacy Singapore bakery brand. Starting from just the one outlet to being a franchised empire, Swee Heng has evolved and adapted to consumer demand for easy access to quality breads and pastries. The quality of the bread and buns here is solid without being necessarily spectacular or even memorable, but nostalgia is a powerful flavor enhancer! Comparable to Breadtalk with some confections unique to the Swee Heng brand.

My preference will be the Begawan Solo flavours which are carefully made for its flavours and appropriate sweetness

Cake was okay but the pretzel on top was horrible, probably cos kept too long already

Very nice cakes and buns from this store. My friend likes the classic cake too.

I tried my chocolate bun from this chain but not as good as I expected. Still think that the chocolate bun from the other brand is better. Reason being its custard base chocolate filling and I was expecting teal chocolate (read: nutella etc)
Tried their Swiss roll which is decent, love the fact that it comes with peanut coating. Very tradition!

Swee heng is so underrated. Their bakeries are consistently good and true to its original taste.
Something that is really difficult to find in Singapore, where people mostly have bland tastebuds

I had purchased cake for my sons 2nd bday to do a small home celebration. It turned out to be disappointing as there was a human hair in the cake very upsetting our celebration. Never expected from this brand. I want to share the pic but unable to do so. Hence shared seperately.

I like the mini four flavors bread the most, it was just soft and tasty.
The salty egg machi one was ok the salty egg inside was nice, but the machi and the whole bread was a bit too sweet for me.
Pandan soya milk chiffon melted in my mouth and was fragrant.
