I ordered noodles from this place via GrabFood, and halfway through eating, I found a thick strand of hair in the soup. It was extremely disgusting and made me lose my appetite. I expected basic hygiene in food preparation, like wearing hairnets, but this was clearly not followed. Very disappointed and concerned about the cleanliness of the kitchen.

Happened to see this new restaurant at clementi mall while drinking coffee at Starbucks located right opposite. Decided to give it a try. Their noodles tasted like bee hoon, those thick types. Ordered one of their signature, 过桥面. It was a hearty bowl of noodles. Shared it with my missus as I don’t think one can finish the entire bowl easily. The ingredient was fresh and generous. Filled with pork belly, beef, chicken and lots of other ingredients as well. Broth was flavourful. Personally not a bee hoon person so didn’t really like the noodles (personal taste). But the rest was really good. One highlight, I thought that the restaurant was rather noisy when people started pulling their chairs. Other than that, good meal.

Came by to try this new restaurant in Clementi Mall out since the hawker was closed for cleaning - wasn’t blown away but largely because the dishes aren’t to our liking. 🍜 the tomato broth was good, with decent portion of meat and noodles, definitely better than those you find in food courts 🍗 wings and pork belly was very salty, can’t really take them by itself Given that there’s an opening promotion and it still cost us close to $40 for 2 noodles 2 sides and a drink, I wouldn’t return in future solely because I’m not a fan of this genre of food.. Their service was great though, attentive staff and highly productive and efficient in allocating tables despite it being one server in the FOH 👍🏻

I recently visited TamJai SamGor Mixian restaurant on a Friday afternoon for the first time, and I must say it was a delightful experience. Unsure of what to order, I decided to go with the special offer, which included noodles with pork ribs and prawns, prepared with mild spiciness. The noodles were impeccably smooth and cooked to perfection, while the ribs were tender, practically falling off the bones as I savored each bite. The freshness of the prawns and the well-balanced, flavorful broth added to the overall excellence of the meal. However, I did encounter a minor hiccup with their online ordering system, which wasn't functioning smoothly. Consequently, I had to place my order and make payment at the entrance. Nevertheless, the simplicity and cleanliness of the eatery's decor, with its bright lighting and no-frills ambiance, made for a pleasant dining environment. What truly stood out was the value for money. For just around $12, the set meal included a drink, even though the drink choices were somewhat limited. The service, much like the decor, was straightforward and no-frills, with the predominantly middle-aged staff proving to be helpful and friendly. I'm eager to return and explore more of the noodle offerings on their menu. The step-by-step instructions for ordering noodles, along with clear pricing for each customizable element, make the ordering process a breeze. TamJai SamGor Mixian has earned a spot on my list of go-to places for delicious and reasonably priced noodles.

The mala soup base had a robust warmth with an adjustable spice level to suit different preferences. The chive/qing long cai added a pronounced herbal taste to the mix too. Premium beef and pork I opted for were tender and pleasantly chewy! Their TuFei chicken wings were crispy and seasoned generously with pepper and salt. A nice addition. I like their milk tea too as it has a strong tea flavour and was not cloying. Price: - Mala Base $6.50 - Pork +$2.10 - Premium Beef +$2.90 - 3pcs of TuFei Chicken Mid-Wings +$5.80 - HK-style Milk Tea $2.80 Total: $20.10 but paid $16.40 because of their “Double Up Combo for 2” promotion.
