Positive: staff are very friendly. Negative: I would say the set up of the restaurant does not encourage food sharing, which is very very strange. My Family (4 of us) ordered food and we struggle to put everything on our table. Seems to encourage individual order. The cooking area is very small too. I was so hungry but decided not to order more food as it is just very annoying to cook over the small cooking area and the table is so small. I went to the near by food court to have more food. Food wise- average. The beef is very “tough”. Unlikely to come back.

Mala new item taste not very fascinating. Used chilli powder on the raw meat. But mala sauce is not bad. Need to give reasonable sauce portion for amount of meat ordered.
Usual items tasted good as usual, especially pork jowl, but price increase i think. 100g $10 😱
There is also a staff, Eunice, which needs to be trained more. When she put down the tray (with our set meal), we did move away (sufficient space for staff to put down tray in front of us) but she still use her arms to "push" us as if there is not enough space. Staff should know Yakiniku Like outlets and seats' space not very spacious actually. It is 1st time we encounter such incident.
Saw the same staff, eunice, putting down tray (not in front of another customer) and soup spilled on the raw meats. Customer (uncle) feedback the spilled soup and the tray should be placed in front of him, then she put the tray in front of him, then took the soup-flooded plate of meats back to change. When she takes back the tray, the bits of spilled soup on the tray splattered on the customer (aunty). Can see the customers not very happy, kept shaking head.
Tried to get staff to change the grilling net but took quite some time for their staff to notice customer putting up hand. Needed to walk up to staff to ask them change net, else 50min dining time not enough. Worry will be chased out due to dining limit up.
Feedback to the staff (a guy) during our payment, and he mentioned this staff (eunice) got autism. I can understand company tries to hire special-needs staff, but its better to let the staff go through more training on how to handle customers better. Hope the staff can improve.

Not my first to dine-in at this outlet. It had been awhile since the last visit. Been to their original outlet at PLQ, waited for more than 4 hours for the 2nd visit.
Also dine-in at Vivo & Bishan Junction outlet before. This time round tried their mala flavour 😋

The food here is delicious and of reasonable price, but that’s about the most I can commend.
Honestly, quite disappointed because I thought that this style of bbq would start to have flames when the oil drips below, which creates an exquisite flavour. But here, nope not at all. So it just feels like a really messy BBQ since it’s a mesh grill plate.
The atmosphere also kind of sucks as you might dine next to strangers since they have very limited space.
Also, I think they forgot about my boyfriend’s order until we prompted them.

Had a great experience at Yakiniku Like in Clementi! I ordered the beef set and it was really delicious—the meat was tender, juicy, and grilled perfectly right at my table. The set came with rice, soup, and a side, which made it a super satisfying meal. Service was fast and friendly, and I loved how easy it was to just sit down and start grilling. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a tasty and fun Japanese BBQ spot in the area!
