Purchased a laptop this year from Challenger and many of the staffs working there are not even aware that the Star shield company is no longer affiliated with Challenger. Every time you call the hotline listed under Challenger website for their ValueClub brochure, a stupid and useless Pinoy agent just directs you back to Challenger saying that they are no longer affliated with Challenger. PLEASE TAKE DOWN THE OUTDATED HOTLINES AND BRIEF YOURS STAFFS BEFORE GIVING CUSTOMERS ALL THE OUTDATED/WRONG INFO. I do not recommend buying any electronic devices from Challenger.

Rude male cashier encountered today, 22 Dec later afternoon. If you don’t need your items immediately, there are better offers through other online e-commerce platforms and better customer service elsewhere.

When the prices are already more expensive than e-commerce, I do expect the service to be the differentiator. In this case, it was a further detractor. I was looking for one item and the staff rudely gestured to me as if I were blind for not seeing it. Never mind that, I went to the cashier and he didn’t come back. I left after 10 minutes. No reason to bother paying 1.5X the price if the service is absolutely this dismal.

My computer battery cannot be charged and I have urgent work to do. I went to the store a few minutes before it's closing hour. Two staff in the store helped me to troubleshoot after the store closed and provided the solution. Thanks for going for an extra mile for a visitor!

Disappointing service. Was urgently looking for HDMI VGA adaptor. It was out of stock. Salesperson didn't even bother helping me to check whether I can find at other outlets.

Went to the Challenger outlet at Clementi Mall today to replace my mobile phone screen protector and was attended to by staff Cai Feng. She’s both helpful and professional, and did a really good job. Will definitely return in the near future. 😊👍 …

I was looking for a USB-c earphones adapter, and I was served by an uncle, he really went above and beyond for me. He recommended a much cheaper option, took the adapter out of the package and let me test it on my phone. then when I said I needed compatibility with zoom calls, he actually turned on one of the display laptops, connected it to wifi, downloaded zoom and let me sign in and start a call to test it out. I really appreciate the caring and thoughtfulness, thanks so much!

Do not shop here! Poor customer service and no respect for their own exchange policy.
I was sold a defective phone and, under the Challenger policy stated online, returned five days later with my phone, original box and had my receipt.
When I asked the shop assistant, he became very aggressive saying "no returns" and walked away and when I brought up the policy stated online, he shouted at me saying "You don't work here. I work here." I waited for the manager, and in the meantime, asked the shop assistant for his name which he tried to hide as he ran away (I believe it was Rajash Nair) shouting "Get his name, not mine."
When the manager explained that I had followed the website policy correctly, I never received an apology from Mr Nair. Even worse, although he initially said an exchange was possible, he later retracted this and said that when he spoke to his manager, they told me I should go to the service centre. This is clearly an attempt to push any responsibility away from Challenger and look for me to be covered under the Google warranty instead. He said that, although this is not stated, Challenger don't take responsibility for phones and sent me to Kallang.
The aggressive shop assistant and inconsistent policy was extremely disappointing. I strongly recommend not shopping here and hope action is taken on Mr Nair's unprofessional behaviour.

Have a bad experience at this Challenger outlet on 13 Nov around 4:40pm. I am urgently searching for a Brother's toner TN-3478 at this outlet. I go to a retail person and asked did they had Toner with code TN-3478. He replied to me loudly what the toner number. And I show my phone photo of the toner to him and say TN-3478. He then replied again loudly that this is not the toner number. He then refer me to another retail staff. I confronted him and ask why you need to talk so loudly? He say he is from HP not Challenger direct staff. And he still insisted the toner number I given not correct by bring a HP printer cartridge.
As for the direct Challenger's staff he refer me to let me waited for a while and when I asked him whether they are selling the mentioned Toner. He just ask me to go to the Toner area to find for it for myself. He just say if that side don't has mean they don't sell.
I really disappointed with to this kind of service provided. May think twice whether to visit this outlet again.

We visited Challenger to check out the latest iPad, but a staff member turned off the iPad display while i was still exploring it. What was more disappointing is that the staff specifically shut off the unit i was using, even though i was actively exploring its functions. #badexperience #rudestaff
