Ha-Jun Korean at Clementi Mall provides accessible Korean cuisine to Singapore's western region at Level 4 (#04-33), serving as a halal-certified restaurant that makes authentic Korean flavors available to Muslim diners and families seeking affordable Asian dining options. Operating Monday-Sunday from 11:20am-9:30pm, this fast-casual establishment offers run-of-the-mill Korean dishes similar to Korean stalls found in food courts, with the significant advantage of MUIS halal certification that sets it apart from most Korean restaurants in Singapore. The restaurant focuses on providing wallet-friendly Korean classics with over 35 menu options designed to deliver familiar flavors at budget-conscious prices, making Korean cuisine accessible to diverse communities.
The menu features popular Korean staples including Bibimbap ($6), Kimchi Beef Ramen ($5.50), and Dolsot Bibimbap ($6.50), alongside other traditional dishes that showcase Korean cooking techniques and flavors adapted for local preferences. Complimentary barley tea enhances the authentic Korean dining experience, while the affordable pricing structure ensures that families can enjoy Korean cuisine without stretching their budgets. The restaurant's straightforward approach focuses on delivering recognizable Korean dishes rather than gourmet presentations, making it an ideal introduction to Korean cuisine for newcomers while satisfying cravings for established Korean food enthusiasts seeking convenient, certified halal options.
Available for delivery through foodpanda and Deliveroo platforms with a 4.9/5 rating from over 500+ reviews, Ha-Jun Korean serves the Clementi community with convenient access to Korean comfort food. While the restaurant experienced a food safety incident in May 2023 that was promptly addressed through enhanced cleaning schedules and pest control measures, the establishment continues to maintain its halal certification and commitment to food safety standards. The restaurant's primary value lies in its unique position as one of the few halal-certified Korean dining options in Singapore, providing Muslim families and Korean food enthusiasts with reliable access to Korean flavors in a convenient mall setting that prioritizes affordability and cultural inclusivity.
No tissues provided for $10++ meal, even though the food is messy with soup. No place to wash hands also. Want to have hawker centre standard of dining, should charge hawker centre prices too.

The food taste nice and a bit high on MSG I suppose!!! Love the ramen noodles. Nice, warm restaurant but….If you don’t know how to use chopsticks to eat noodles, rice and soup, don’t bother going here. They will serve you hot piping soup, noodles, rice, dumplings and those on the list but the cutlery is not available. When I requested the kitchen staff for fork and spoon, she shouted at me and say don’t have. I ask her how to eat without fork and spoon, she point me to the wash basin. I told her, “you are shouting at me instead of providing cutlery to eat the food, fine give me a refund”. The boss came out and ask what I needed. I told him I needed 4 sets of fork and spoon. He got them to me. Earlier at cashier, the staff just took orders and I ask where do I collect the food or you will serve us, she just nod her head a few times and walk away to do other things. Don’t expect good service though food is nice. Fried chicken taste terrible.

Had a horrible experience here.
Price point was okay and affordable. However the food here was horrible.
1) kimchi fried rice - very very bland, no kimchi taste. In the picture they showed side dishes of extra kimchi. But when i requested for it, they said its chargable and not included. Then why is it in the picture even???
2) jjajangmyeon - well it didnt look like maggi mee in the picture. There was quite a lot of sauce in the picture as well. Now look at my picture. There is hardly any sauce at all. And the maggi mee wasnt even nice.
3) beef porridge - never had any korean beef porridge before so nothing to comment about the taste. But it was very watery.
The only good point is that they provide free barley drink?
But everything else was horrible. Which korean stall don't provide kimchi at all? What a disappointment. Food was nothing like the pictures.

Food no taste. Kitchen staffs very unhelpful (counter staff ok only). No appetite at all. A lot of unfinished food.

Couldn’t finish the naeng myeon (cold noodles, no. 4 because it was quite unappetising. Number 13’s saba fish was better.
Atmosphere is ok, there is also a view if you sit next to windows. Not very worth for price

They cheated customer instant noodles as black bean noodles (jjajangmyeong). It is okay that food is totally different from the picture. But the taste was totally different from taste of jjajangmyeong . Black bean paste supposed to be put alot? So when I went and checked if they give me wrong noodles or not, the two chefs yelled at me instead of nice response. It was so sad that I just wasted my money on instantant noodles and I cant bear the taste to finish it after 2 or 3 spoons. The worst ever taste and service place.

Totally different. This is what your kid can even cook at home. What a scam. First and last eating here. Your business not gonna last if this the way your team did to customer. Dont even deserve one star i also dont know how come you guys wanted to run f&b business.

The tteobboki was sour, the black bean noodles were made from instant noodles, the kimchi fried rice was tasteless. I dont think this shop knows what is salt or gochujang as a KOREAN restaurant. Prices wise, its OKAY but not worth it. Come if you want… I dont have much to say.

Sorry, but you’re telling me this is zhajiangmian? Seriously? The noodles are literally instant noodles. And where’s the zhajiang? That’s ridiculous.

The food was ok. The staff - horrible.
They got our hotpot at 9pm. The lady asked us to finish eating by 9.30 pm because she has to clean and leave. It was piping hot - no one can finish it so fast.
The lady turned passive aggressive by moving our baby's stroller around in the pretext of cleaning.
It seemed that the staff was more interested in going home than serving customers who were seated.
Why eat at a place where the customer is not a priority?

Simple and affordable. Come with free tea.
Packed with students from nearby school. Food is what you expect from a Korean eatery at this great price.
Some really irritate me is how they poke the chopstick into the food. It like offering for the dead when you go to get the foo from the counter. 4 star because of that otherwise 5 star.
Can try the fried chicken :)

Food pricing was affordable for the quantity and quality. Portion was pretty huge for the price. Had the beef stew soup and hotstone bibimbap. Simple yet yummy. Will return again next time!

My experience at this halal Korean restaurant was positive. Maybe because I dined late when it is least crowded, around 8:30 PM, and received my bibimbap in a reasonable timeframe. The restaurant offers affordable prices and a casual, food court-like atmosphere. The food quality is good considering the budget-friendly prices.

Very tasty food! I was pleasantly surprised considering how cheap it was. Though I've never been to Korea so no idea how authentic it is.
I had the spicy beef stew with rice.
Edit: I just saw all the negative reviews. I came at about 20:30 and there was no one here so maybe the food and service was better.

A nice & comfy Korean Food stall at Clementi Mall. Tried the hot plate saba fish & hot plate chicken. Saba was huge, no bone & tasty 😋. Though with a little bit sauce would be nicer. Chicken was ok, tender & juicy. There's free flow of tea near the counter
It's quite pack during lunch/dinner.
