Pixie Nail Spa The Clementi Mall

Despite having already committed to a $1,000 package at another Pixie location, the staff at this outlet relentlessly pressured me to sign an additional package. Throughout my one-hour manicure and pedicure session, I had to say “no” up to 20 times, yet they continued aggressively pushing treatments and products. What was most distressing was that they physically pulled at my hands during the process and outright refused to take “no” as an answer. This level of forceful behavior crosses a line from salesmanship into harassment. When I ultimately declined to sign up for more, the staff gave me cold, judgmental stares as I was leaving—making me feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. It felt mentally abusive and manipulative, as if I was being punished for not giving in to their demands. While I understand that upselling may be part of your business model, the level of pressure and disrespect I experienced at this particular outlet was unacceptable. I urge Pixie to look into this matter seriously. No customer should be made to feel harassed, guilted, or unsafe in what should be a relaxing environment.

Very bad job done at this outlet by the staff. I am a regular at Pixie West Coast plaza. They do wonderful job there. But this Clementi mall outlet is full of ridiculously pushy sales agents. They are not giving proper service if you are not buying more packages from them. BAD!

Even though the staff was kind and attentive, I did not like this place, I think they are not honest when scheduling an appointment and telling you all the washers they are going to charge you later. For CNY they charged me $15 (they never told me on the call) although $15 seems excessive to me I said ok, no problem, but when the service ended they charged me $15 for a manicure and $15 for a pedicure, additionally the staff is always trying to sell you things, $38 salt balls, treatments for dead skin on your feet (when you don't have dead skin on your feet), wax hair removal and manicure and pedicure packages. You look for a quiet place where you can relax but it ends up being annoying with the staff insisting on selling you things. Additionally, when you start to choose the color of your nails it turns out that they have mixed options where they charge you $10 per color, I don't understand why some colors yes and other colors no, it is supposed that within the value of the manicure and pedicure that you are already paying includes the color. In the end it was supposed to be $29 manicure $39 pedicure ($68) I ended up paying $108. I will definitely not be going back to this place.

Beware of the good reviews here .. likely paid. There is a reason the place is empty compared to the other one on the fourth floor of the mall near the air-conditioned food court. I had the same experience as another review, hard selling, pissed off attitude when you refuse to sign more on top of what you have already paid for. I was genuinely afraid when the pedicurist was pissed I refuse to pay more for package that I haven’t even finished 7-8 more left. She was rough and it was a painful experience. Will forfeit my package and never return to this place.

Visited this new outlet 2times so far. Lots of persistent, hard-selling, telling me I hv foot conditions that MUST be fixed. This has been the practice by hair, massage, nails, facials, etc services for too long and no regulation by govt. Main issue is staff are lowly paid, they are incentised to sell as many packages as possible to earn as much commissions as possible to supplement their total income. All the staff, who are mostly foreigners, do this hard-selling for survival. Quite a pathetic system we have in Singapore that has gone on for too long without oversight by authorities. I ever hv a bad experience at another outlet, the staff expressed her unhappiness why i did not renew package with her. Thereafter she boycotted me, & asked her colleagues to serve me instead.

I observe that their business is rather bad. Nonetheless, I went today to find out more about their services as my 60 sessions elsewhere is ending soon ( 20 sessions per service type ). I enquired on how much the classic pedi is if I purchase 10 sessions and the staff proudly informed me that they CANNOT tell me the price unless I try their services first. So if your service is bad, I’ll get a cheaper rate??? 😂😂😂 I always sign 20x per service so it’s your loss for having such an attitude.
