Bought from them as they have some unique flavours. Cashier seemed like a trainee but service was pleasant. Take note that the cash register rounds up instead of rounding down. I bought a bread which had 20% discount so the total was an odd $15.82. The cash register rounded it up to $15.90 so when I asked the cashier he said it was a system limitation but gave me the change for $15.80 anyway.
Well, that wasn’t really the reason for my review. The worse part is finding hair stuck in the butter roll the next morning… 🤮 😭

I wish I had read the reviews before patronising Proofer. I wanted to purchase a whole Tiramisu cake for a siblings birthday but when I asked the staff for some details on the cake, she was clueless. She did not even know what Tiramisu is supposed to be made from.
Anyway the cake tasted horrible. It was dry, crumbly and had no taste of a typical Tiramisu.I paid $40 dollars for such a low grade cake? Even a frozen cake from NTUC is better!
To the owner of this outlet. Please drop the fancy term “Boulangerie”. You guys cant even bake a simple European pastry and yet use such fanciful names to fool patrons. Strongly not recommended!

today l go Clementi mall to buy hawaiian pizza for lunch, when l reach home and taste, the taste is not like last time delious cause l buy for this proofer store pizza long time , when l working at raffles place l also buy for lunch and my boss but now not the same. 😥

I will never visit this bakery again. This will be my last time to this place. Attended by a very rude, unprofessional, impatient and condescending staff. Elderly short fat lady in ponytail and white hair. First, she lets another cut queue although she saw me came first and wanted to make order. Second, when I tried to clarify my order with her, she raised her voice at me and airs a condescending tone. If she’s not keen to do the job, she can just stay home instead of putting up such rude airs and bad service. This is not her first time being so rude. I thought she had a bad day previously. Today is my last straw. Will never go back to this bakery again with such nasty staff!

Terrible experience in proffer clementi outlet,I requested to exchange my shopee voucher for proofer luncheon egg bread and told by no stock and I can only choose other type of bread which cost sgd2. The luncheon egg bread value is sgd2.20 so that I asking to exchange other bread with the same cost and rejected twice from the 2 female staff and telling me I purchased promotion voucher thus the company need to earn money so that I can’t exchange the same value which is ridiculous. I will not to purchase their products anymore.

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! Auntie working at the cashier on Saturday afternoon is very rude and impatient. I just asked her to help to cut the baguette I bought but she was very condescending and rude. She even mentioned that she will not cut the bread if she is annoyed even though we didn’t say anything to her. Ruined the experience.

Saw so many reviews about Rude aunty and happened I just redeemed banana cake at clementi mall, really very rude aunty, i just swiped 1 and she told me quick quick in mandarin for another but later made noise i did not show her. I told her off if sge has customers, she can attend 1st No Need Ask me swipe and complained she yet seen, My hp placed on table for 5 mins showing date, time and order completed, yet kept said i nagging her unable see. PLEASE LAH, everywhere once u redeemed, machine will capture your payment or acknowledge voucher. She said wanted call Police, go ahead as all bad reviews. Regardless food nice Also no point buy from them, previously i bought 2 times, the girls are very patience and nice.

Walked past the store and bought a cookies cream puff for $3.20 because I love cream puffs, but this stall’s one is not it. Cream tasted really cheap, not sweet and just makes you feel it’s oily and greasy. I don’t recommend.

Redeemed 2 breads from shopee app yesterday. The auntie was SUPER rude and her attitude was outrageous. Showed her my screenshots of the transactions, yet she kept yelling, “swipe swipe swipe!” Apparently I had to “swipe” in front of her, which I didn’t get why?? Each transaction clearly shows the name of the bread and time at that point, plus they should have a record of it.
She could have spoken nicely and not yelling and shouting with a bad attitude. I seriously suggest to change the staff as I can clearly see that I’m not the only one who has faced this issue with the counter Auntie. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE.

Bread is better than others but staff really sucks… attitude sucks, scolding and nagging at customer that you paid me $50 in the morning?! Either buy more or pay by qrcode, how to find changes for your $2 only… 🙄what a nice way for starting of a day, won’t come again…

Awful counter aunty. Be wary of utilising vouchers at their outlets, as they could discredit them and tell you off. She expects that you know what to do, and told me to swipe swipe swipe. Quickly swipe. Then after swiping, she exclaimed rudely that I did not let her see that I swiped.
If you want to prevent a bad experience, swipe it right in front of her eyes. Did not even manage to get the banana cake I bought for. Super horrid and distasteful experience.
