Went for my quick lunch fix, service was very welcoming and prompt ! Didn’t like that quail egg and fish ball came abit undercook, as the centre of the food is still not entirely hot.. but taste is still decent compare to the rest of the outlet..

Tried their mixian with clear soup base. Honestly there wasn't much I could say, just that it did not taste too heavy. Will return to eat again.

Had eaten at so many other outlets, including Vivo, Chinatown, Bishan, Funan etc. but the taste of the soup base here pales in comparison. Not sure if it was because my order was served wrongly to someone else and they had to rush out another bowl for me, but this bowl was so diluted (like spiced plain water mixed) compared to the many other times I ate elsewhere.
Also tried their new San Suan Ban Mixian but it also wasn't as good as the soup version.
Recommend that they boil the soup to make it more concentrated to match to the standards of the other outlet. Or I could have just been unlucky to have my bowl remade hastily without upholding the standards.

Famous hongkong chain? Was expecting nice mixian... but tbh im not v sure what do they even taste like... it was so bad that i dont even know how to describe them.
I guess mixian was the famous item not the broth...
Got mala mixian 麻辣米线 (小辣) with premium beef slices for $10
- soup base tasted NOTHING like mala, instead tasted sour???? v confused on the taste
Singapore Favourite Combo (Charred Pepper Soup + Iced Lychee Lemonade) $13.80
- 👍 icon beside the soup base BUT tbh it tasted more like a 🫥 (again... not sure how to describe this)
- the iced lychee lemonade... ohmy, so diuted and just artificial sweetener & coloring
Another Singapore Favourite Combo (Tangy Tomato Soup + Iced Milk Tea)
- this tomato broth tasted most decent out of all)
- weird tasting milk tea

1st try of this 谭仔三哥。quite disappointed with the food, not as nice as what other people comment. Perhaps it only taste nice for those people not able to cook, MSG is a lot...The chicken wing is a bit bitter. The mixian portion is just enough for me. The recommended HK style milk tea is even worth then the kopitiam standard. Definetly will not visit for the second time, even for other branches.

The spicyness is artificial, burns ur throat without giving any fragance. Tastes like chemical. And food unreasonably expensive for its quality. Just for reference, 3 quail eggs for 2.6 dollars, chicken katsu u can get from a hawker center for 3 dollas, here is 12 dollars. Think twice before u come here...

A refreshing twist on hotpot noodles, Tamjai Samgor’s Hot & Sour Broth is quite the revelation—complex, tangy, and layered with umami, likely from preserved mustard greens. The pork liver steals the show: tender, perfectly seasoned, and melt-in-the-mouth, while tofu puffs and shrimp soak up the vibrant broth beautifully. The rice noodles deserve praise too—springy, chewy, and adept at clinging to the soup’s bold flavors, akin to the chu mifen found in laksa noodles but with more bounce.
A quirky addition is the meat sauce side dish, resembling a creamy, mild Bolognese. Unsure if it’s meant to be mixed into the broth or eaten solo, I tried both—it adds richness but shines better as a standalone dip. Skip the cloyingly sweet iced milk tea (included in the set); staff kindly swapped it for ice water upon request.
While lunch lacks the tea-time promo deals, the broth and noodles alone justify a visit. Service is brisk but accommodating, and the casual setup suits quick, satisfying meals. A reliable joint for those craving depth beyond typical spicy broths—just brace for sweetness in the drinks but that could be a personal preference.

Good wide selection of noodle and ingredient.
Can select combination for self preference
Do not like the ordering system,.
Why do they need to force for customer name, email etc before payment when you are there just to have a meal

Interesting noodle shop. It's supposed to be from Hong Kong, but the flavour is more like from China, as I see Mala and Chongqing in the menu.
The Mixian is more like the yew main in the banmian stall. You choose a soup base (there are 2 hot and sour options, I chose the house special) and you choose the spice level. Then choose different toppings (meat, vegetable, etc).
The soup is quite flavourful. I like the addition of a bit of sze chuan vegetable in my soup.
The side dishes were quite nice too. The tufei (bandit) chicken wings were quite good, just on the salty side.
All in all, it's worth a visit if you want to try something a little different.

I was feeling giddy due to hunger and decided to grab some soupy stuff before heading home. Saw there was some people in front of me and I was examining the big board trying to understand how to order. The service staff was very kind and guided me along and ushered me to table within a minute.
I ordered the Suan la soup which u cannot adjust spiciness and sourness.
I added some ingredients which I loved and the total cost was $15.50 with drink. Pretty decent and I was pretty full despite selecting lesser noodle. Good to try if you have yet to.
