I visited on 15 Dec 2021 (dinner time), the male staff was very bad.. I was q-ing and when it came to my turn to order, he just ignored me for more than 5 mins. He was not very busy actually, but he just kept turning around and pretended to be busy. At that moment, I just felt that other people may think that I am a beggar and waiting for free meal 😂 Next, very lucky for me, he finally allowed me ordering my food. I ordered set B with chicken and he did not tell me that I need to wait because chicken is rolling on the grill-machine. After few more mins, I decided to ask him and he said that wait for 1 - 2 mins. Eventually, I waited for more than 5 mins, but no SORRY! Time is important, but the behavior of staffs is more and more important. I believe that he was stressful at peak-time and that is why he was so bad. Maybe the owner needs to increase his salary 😆

The skewer options can vary as one of the ones I wanted wasn't available and they weren't particularly hot when I got them, but they tasted ok. I liked the deep fried dumplings though. Not the biggest fan of the seasoning on the rice as I got tired of it by the end.

Whenever we need a quick dinner fix.... Tori Q is the place of choice Like their grilled unagi, cannot be compared to restaurant grade...but it is value for money Other favourites include chicken with green pepper, chicken skin

Visited the Clementi branch lunchtime today, Sunday 14 Nov. stood in line n waited 15 min even though there was only 5 person in front of me. The server at the counter was simply too busy packing what I presume are online orders n just making the people in line wait. In between each actual person in line, the server was packing at least 5 other online order. Is this the respect you give to customers who are actually standing in Line. Please re think your priorities and assigned adequate staff to all station including one dedicated to online orders during busy hours. You can certainly afford it

Ordered in total five items, and the packing staff got 2 of them wrong 😅. I mean, if you are not capable of remembering correctly what customers have ordered, why u always ask us to order in advance? What’s the point? I know it’s probably not the staff’s fault, but I do think your SOP needs to be refined. It’s definitely not a single case because it’s already happened to me a lot frequent than I can tolerate.

Food — TOO MUCH MSG in the food which makes me super thirsty after finishing the set meal. Chicken karage was soggy and not crispy at all. ☹️*Price for set meals have increased by $2 to $3 since 2020.* Service — sub-par. Atmosphere — only 6 squeezy seats with overwhelmingly yellow spot lights. Makes me nauseated but am glad that I didn’t vomit whilst dining there.

NOT RECOMMENDED Really the customer service is really bad. Customer demand especially mine is not been satisfied. The staff know best is just to collect money. The Unique slogan : Money First, Service Last . For the management, instead of keep on raising food prices, maybe can request to send your staff for more training.

Bought this for lunch on a Sat before going to school for an examination :') There was a long queue at this stall when I was there and I think the pork stick ran out so they swapped it with a chicken stick for me. The rice was generously topped with seaweed and I could tell they used japanese rice! After I was done with the meal, I was little too full so get this only when you are very hungry haha. Eating this can also get a little messy as I tried to remove the meat from the sticks, not sure if there is a better way to eat this. But still, I thoroughly enjoyed this meal as it was packed with flavour and my favourite stick was the chicken ball hehe

Decided to pack for lunch. Had five sticks and cost $9.80. Delicious.

Sometimes there isn’t enough servings especially at dinner time, and there isn’t much place to sit if it’s busy. But good place to get a filling meal quickly

Have been eating their Set A for Saturday dinner for quite a while now, when I'm too lazy to leave the house. It's totally serviceable and at 9pm, there are also not many other options available. The soy sauce, pickles and proteins come together to make an enjoyable quick meal.

Had lunch here with the kids. Ordering process was easy, just choose whatever you want in food cabinet, has the option to add them to a plate of rice. Their sauce was sweet and savory. Meat was grilled to perfection without being too dry. Economical in my opinion as well considering the quality of their ingredients.

First time ate in the stall in Clementi Mall. Usually will just do takeaways. The customer service is quite pleasant when my wife ordered. They are ok to add additional sauce onto the rice when my wife requested. The food is is comfort food. The rice servicing is generous and I love the pickles although having some takuan will really be awesome. All the grilled stuff that we ordered tasted great even though we just had dinner at Eng Heritage. The place is small but no one seems to be eating in, so we had the whole counter to ourselves. Will definitely be back.

Ok, so this review is purely based on one item menu - the $1.60 pepper karaage. Perfectly salty with an aromatic peppery bite. The chicken was moderately juicy, but more importantly, superbly lean. My karaage pieces were completely free of those fatty bits that always ruin a good piece of fried chicken with that slimy texture and somewhat off-putting greasy chicken flavor (looking at you OCK chicken pops). Definitely going back to pick up more karaage soon. Havent really tried their other items soon, so take this review with a grain of salt. Suggestion to outlet: i think you can go with cheaper packaging for the to-go orders. I was surprised they used thick plastic packaging for my single stick. Seemed like a waste to throw it away
