Her service attitude was terrible!😭😭😭
I had already selected a piece of cake and was choosing other items when she kept staring at me and continuously tapping on the counter forcefully and impatiently with her fingers. This made me feel very nervous, so in the end, I only bought one piece.
Out of the three staff members, only she acted this way. At the time, it wasn’t busy, and there was no one else in line. The other two staff members were available.
Maybe it’s because I’m a young girl, so she dared to treat me this way.😰

bought their ice cream family pack expected 15 DIFFERENT ice creams as advertised. what a shock when i opened and realised only 5 of the ice cream shown in pic were given, and 4 of them were repeated; the rest were swapped with other 'meh' flavours. staff did not bother to check/inform us. money wasted, will not patronise v dishonest *igdm them and they just 'seen' my msg, horrible service

The incident happened on 5 June, between 7:30pm and 9:00pm. I came to buy five croissants, and when I was going to make payment, the cashier’s attitude was really unacceptable. I told her I wanted to use PayWave, but her facial expression and tone were very impatient. She even kept shaking her head, and her behaviour gave me the feeling of racial discrimination.
From the time I placed my order until I paid, I spoke to the staff politely and respectfully, no aggression at all. So I really don’t understand why I was treated like this as a customer.
I asked her to get the manager, but she just ignored me and didn’t say anything like I wasn’t even there. Then another girl came over, her name is either Niki or Miki, and said she was the one in charge. She apologised on behalf of the cashier, but she didn’t do anything wrong, so I cannot accept her apology for something she never did.
The one who had the bad attitude should be the one to apologise directly to me. Throughout the whole interaction, the cashier was disrespectful and arrogant, like she just didn’t care. I even asked Miki what the cashier’s name was, but she refused to tell me.
I’m a regular customer staying nearby. I often buy cakes, ice cream, and many things from your shop. And honestly, this is not the first time I’ve encountered such poor service from your staff. It has happened more than once already.
I really cannot accept this kind of attitude anymore. Hiring staff with such behaviour is really very disappointing.

The staff at Clementi Mall should have basic customer service skills. They come across as unfriendly and lacking in customer service. The way they serve customers makes it seem like the pastries are free or very cheap. Additionally, when purchasing a whole cake, customers are expected to carry it without a bag.

I have supported the brand for years, the quality of strawberry cake used to be almost close to the cake I had in Tokyo. Now the quality is dropping dramatically. I tasted nothing but sugar in its cake and cream. Sad ending.

A feasting for the tastebuds and a pleasure for the eyes.
Mako San convinced me that their special Strawberry cake was baked in Japan yesterday and flown in from there this afternoon. Fluffy texture and so delicious as he claimed that they do not use a lot of flour but rather eggs. It is not overbearing of sweetness and as light as sponge. Indeed, it's a great recommendation even though it's a little more pricey than the rest.
I bought a couple more interesting looking cakes and I was not disappointed at all...

I love Châteraisé, I have tried their cakes, double fantasy cream puffs, ice cream and mochi I love all of them:) Last time I always used to think that Châteraisé is expensive because of how their place look so high class and their name too BUT it is actually very affordable:) so go try it out!:)

Many varieties of Japanese cake and dessert here. Am a frequent customer of Chateraise.
Some of their desserts are really good, recommend the white zebra, double fantasy puff and their fruit with fresh cream cake. Had the Mont Blanc before not to my liking. Their caramel ice cream is nice as well. Red bean ice cream is too sweet and is just like a red bean ice popsicle. Some price tags are a little steep.
Always thought the system of purchasing was a little disorganised. Some people order before they queue to pay some people queue and order at the counter. Some take the frozen desserts themselves queue and order extras while paying. Just a food for thought. But nonetheless the staff are usually pretty efficient.
