Not sure why this few days service was so slow. Soft boil eggs already so cold and watery but the toast, bread, SW still pending for more than half an hour.

Have ordered from here quite frequently (usually laksa or the beef boat noodles) throughout the past few years. Their meat quality seems to have dropped. Found a piece of bone INSIDE the meatball (I bit into it). Definitely not ordering again.

Average taste but a good place to catch a quick bite and coffee.

I visit this branch regularly after work. The staff here changes wholesale regularly, and today I noticed it has happened again. This time, it's glaring that the current batch of staff are poorly trained and lacking in quality control. Firstly, I ordered chwee kueh, soft-boiled eggs & teh c. Usually, the eggs are prepared and served immediately upon order, but the guy serving me didn't do so. I figure that maybe they'll serve it to me with the chwee kueh, so I returned to my seat and waited. When my buzzer rang, I went to collect my food, only to see…this. Every Singaporean can tell this chwee kueh is incorrectly prepared. The white portion should be flipped over to stand on the narrow end, and the brown portion sprinkled over the wider top. This is what I was served. The staff who prepared this appeared more interested in lumping the ingredients together and moving on to the next order without ensuring it looks anything close to what's on the menu display. Also, I should add that this branch's chwee kueh is normally quite oily, but today's order was literally submerged in oil. I had to ask the staff to drain the oil, and even then what's visible in the attached photo is double the oil I usually see. There was 3-5x as much oil in the plate before I asked the staff to drain it. Finally, back to my eggs. When the chwee kueh was served, my eggs were not there. I had to ask the staff, who informed me the collection point was back at the cashier. However, when I returned there my eggs were not there. I had to ask the staff there explicitly before they started preparing the eggs, a task normally performed by the cashier who took them less than a minute to complete. Why wasn't it prepared when I ordered from him earlier? All in all, the food and service today was extremely dissatisfactory.

Jan 2024. Eaten thai boat noodle a few times before at this place. This time had to fish out a lot of dried garlic skin floating around in the soup! Actually tbh it’s not that great tasting. There’s a Thai noodle place at IMM level1 that’s so much better.

The food quality has dropped a lot for last 3 years. Laksa is watery, yam cake does not have much yam in it, more like flour cake. SPH is the main culprit, for charging high rental to these stalls at the mall. All these giant companies lack sympathy towards the patrons and stall owners, only think of profit-taking. Please lah, must think for commoners who have to work hard to earn a living. Don't be so greedy, can or not!?

The grilled thai chicken was quite tasty. But the experience was marred by the bits of rotten cabbage (photo 1) they used in the achar. Shouldn’t they remove the spoiled parts of the cabbage when preparing the achar? Makes me wonder about their other foods…

Ordered 2 bowls of noodles, 1 Chwee Kui and 1 milk tea but one of their staff came and told my hubby we are not allowed to bring outside food in. Those were orange juice that we bought from the vending machine i.jooz. at level 1 outside the mall and which we had already drank half while shopping. Better still when we stood up to leave.. the same lady told us to put back the plates and bowls when the counter is just right behind my table And which we did but bear in mind we did that out of goodwill, it is not a requirement by law. Just made the experience really unhappy for us. Nothing to rave on the food so this is the last time we will be here.

That Aunty so rude. Scold my mum when she ask to change the egg cause of the egg white is not cook. Transparent. She said rudely 机器煮出来都是这样的,打出来的鸡蛋不可以换了。🤦🏻♀️without crack the eggs how we know if is cook or not? If machine result not cook, should change the machine. Otherwise don’t sell. Although we ask me half boil egg. Half boil not = to no cook. transparent egg white is not cook at all not half cook.

I have been visiting their different outlets since many years. When I first encountered their old outlet at TTSH and they are the favorite of my wife and I. We visit their Woodlands outlet monthly and this is the first time we visit this outlet. I was surprised by the low rating and poor reviews of this outlet. Their food is no different from their outlets that I tried. I loved their Mee Rebus. Their coffee and food are better and cheaper than Toast box. The fact that they are nearly full most of the time with locals and regulars does not sync with their poor reviews.

Honestly I don’t get the hate in the other reviews, I find their food really amazing for its affordable price. Their signature boat noodles cost about $8.90. The soup is rich and flavourful, although the garlic skins does get in the way of you enjoying the soup towards the end. I ate here around 8pm on a Wednesday so there wasn’t much of a crowd and it was a pretty chill place to dine.

The food is like a typical coffee and breakfast or lunch offered by similar outlets. The senior lady and men to clear tables were the difference. They’re helpful and doing it with a smile. They helped deliver the food to me even though they’re not obliged as I’m handicapped. The younger staff in other similar food outlets were nasty

Food here is decently good. I particularly like their mee rebus and I like that there are many options to add other toppings (chicken, beef etc), and make it a more fulfilling meal. Milk tea and coffee here are also decently good! Price wise is a little steep for local delights but I'm ok with it.

I wanted to compliment the old auntie who is in charge of cleaning the table and was surprised to see the cafe has so many bad reviews. She took the afford to clean every table after the customers returned their tray. The staffs I met there are very friendly too. Mee rebus with chicken redang was good.
